Ernesto “Che” Guevara (1928-1967) was an Argentine-born Marxist revolutionary, physician, author, and guerrilla leader who became a central figure in the Cuban Revolution alongside Fidel Castro. After helping overthrow the Batista regime in 1959, he held key roles in Cuba’s government, promoting socialist reforms and international revolutionary movements. Follow @abc
